Imagine that Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere is considered the first official site of the Christian worship built in Rome!
In the middle of the square, according to the tradition, the famous fountain would be the oldest in Rome and dates back to the 1st century BC.
A little curiosity for our guests: we cannot consider real Romans if you have never sat on the steps of the fountain (possibly after buying a beer or a cocktail in the bars close) and you are notspent part of the evening there, between gossip, lights and magical atmosphere.

Santa Maria in Trastevere, raggiungibile con una piacevole passeggiata da Roma Trastevere Relais Guest House, è la piazza più famosa e bella del quartiere. Di notte, accoglie la movida trasteverina, grazie alla presenza di molti ristoranti, pub, gelaterie e artisti di strada che, proprio al centro della piazza, improvvisano performance e spettacolini.
Pensate che la Basilica di S. Maria in Trastevere è considerata il primo luogo ufficiale di culto cristiano edificato a Roma!
Al centro della piazza, la famosa fontana che, sempre secondo la tradizione, sarebbe la più antica di Roma e risalirebbe al I secolo a.c.
Una piccola curiosità per i nostri ospiti: non ci si può considerare dei veri romani se non ci si è mai seduti sugli scalini della fontana (possibilmente dopo aver acquistato una birra o un cocktail nei tanti bar vicini) e non si è
trascorsa parte della serata lì, tra chiacchiere, luci e atmosfere magiche.
